General purpose all synthetic lay-flat delivery hose complying with BS 6391 Type 2 international standards. The hose is a two-component system consisting of a black SBR synthetic rubber inner lining and a synthetic polyester outer jacket, bonded together with NBR-synthetic adhesive.
Its abrasion resistance properties provide contact resistance to oil, fuel and chemical products along with ozone weather resistance. The two component lining system guarantees a smooth surface and low friction loss for a long service life with minimal maintenance requirements and easy repair.
The Elite type 2 fire hose is characterised by its lightweight, flexible and kink resistant structure produced with very low twist and small coil diameter. It is a multipurpose hose suitable for a wide range of applications.
- 23m length, 2½" diameter and 4" when flat.
- Supplied c/w 2½" instantaneous fittings (1/male & 1/female) wired to the ends according to the current British Standards.
- Affix to brigade hydrant standpipes, further lengths of lay-flat hose or the jet spray nozzle below.
- The Type 2 layflat Elite fire hose has a working temperature range of -30°C to +80°C
- It Complies with BS 3691 Type 2 (40 bar) International Standards and many others.
- It can be coupled with BS 336 Instantaneous, Storz or all international coupling types wired-in for safety and security, with 1.6mm Stainless Steel wire.
