Developed in the early 1990s, the RootRain Metro system is one of the most widely specified proprietary tree pit irrigation systems in the world. RootRain Metro is available in four different sizes.
Excellent tree irrigation system - needs installing at time of tree planting.
- Wrap the perforated pipe around the tree roots below ground level in the top 200mm of soil and then nail the specially designed bracket to a tree stake leaving the pipe inlet protruding 50mm above ground level.
- When a hose pipe is used, water entering pipework will quickly dissipate around roots - where most needed and not run-off the top surface as it would otherwise often do.
For standard and selected standard trees, 8-10cm girth. - 35mm diameter pipe c/w bracket and 2 end caps.
