The powerful EC engine and ¼” PM3 saw chain enables clean cutting and the variable chain speed allows full control of the cutting speed during use. The GTA 40 also has a sprocket cover with side-mounted chain tensioning and automatic chain lubrication, as well as a tool-free chain oil tank with sufficient volume for use with 6x AS 2 batteries.

A soft rubberised handle and upper grip helps prevent slipping during use. The claw-shaped deflector at the top of the tool separates the upper grip area from the cutting attachment.

Please be aware that the GTA 40 has been designed for use with 2 hands but can be used by both right and left-handed users thanks to the rocker on both sides of the tool.

An attachment ring lets you hook the tool on a belt for easy access whether you are working in the air or on the ground. Also available is the GTA 40 holster for quick access during work. A hardcase is included with the GTA 40 which can be used to transport the tool, with space included for up to 6x AS 2 batteries and an AL 5-2 high-speed charger.
