FAQs

What is a water bowser?

A water bowser is a mobile trailer equipped with a tank designed to transport various liquids such as water, AdBlue, or liquid fertiliser. Water bowsers serve multiple purposes including providing drinking water for sites, dust suppression, plant and flower watering, livestock feeding and pressure washing. They are also utilised in agriculture for transporting water to sprayers, thus saving time and costs.

How much water does a bowser hold?

A water bowser can hold varying amounts of water depending on its size and capacity. They range from smaller models with capacities starting from around 200 litres to larger ones capable of holding up to 30,000 litres or more.

Can you tow a full water bowser?

In general, it's possible to tow a full water bowser if both the bowser and the towing vehicle are equipped to handle the load safely. However, you should consider the weight of the water when full, the towing capacity of the vehicle, and any legal requirements or regulations regarding towing loads on roads. Some water bowsers may be designed specifically for towing when full, while others may not be suitable for towing when fully loaded.
