FAQs

Is liquid lawn feed better than granules?

Liquid lawn feed often acts faster than granules due to it being quickly absorbed through the grass blades, providing rapid nutrient uptake. It is also easier to apply with a sprayer and can be more suitable for targeted applications. Granular lawn feed, on the other hand, tends to have a slower release, providing a longer-lasting nutrient supply. It is convenient for larger lawn areas and requires a spreader for even distribution.

How often should you liquid feed lawns and plants?

This will very much depend on the feed and what any plants need but is typically done every 4 to 6 weeks in the growing season. You can of course adjust as needed by monitoring plant health; for further details, please check the guidance on the packaging of each product.

How do you spread liquid lawn feed?

Spreading liquid lawn feed is simple. Use a watering can or a hose-end sprayer. Dilute the feed with water according to the product instructions. Apply evenly across the lawn, making sure to cover the entire area. Follow the recommended application rate to avoid overfeeding. Apply when the soil is moist and avoid feeding during hot, dry periods to prevent stress on the grass.
