FAQs

What is 4 stroke oil?

4 stroke oil is specially formulated lubricant designed to optimise the performance and longevity of 4 stroke lawnmower engines. Unlike 2 stroke engine oils, which are mixed with fuel, 4 stroke oil is not burned during the combustion process. Instead, it circulates within the engine, lubricating critical components. Additionally, 4-stroke oil helps dissipate heat generated during operation and removes impurities from the engine, ensuring smooth operation and preventing premature wear and tear.

Can you use 2 stroke instead of 4 stroke engine oil?

2 stroke and 4 stroke engine oils are not interchangeable. They have specific tasks and compositions suited to their engines. Using the wrong oil type for your engine can cause serious damage.
