Use where standard tree anchoring systems with drive-in anchors that cannot be used due to the presence of underground services etc.
- The award winning D-Man® is a strong, compact and lightweight system primarily designed to replace the traditional kerbstone or sleeper deadman methods.
- D-Man® cells should be installed at least 30cm below the base of the rootball with the soil compacted above the cells to 60%, right up to the nursery line.
- This Platipus D-Man® Anchor System includes:
- 3 x wire chokes
- 4m of galvanised wire
- 3 x Plati-Mat®
- 3 x D-Man® cells
- Suitable for trees with a height of 2.5m-4.5m and a circumference of 12-25cm.
- Other sized kits available to order.
NOTE: A one-off purchase of a ratchet tensioning tool is needed to install this Platipus fixing anchor system.
